And the Walls...... Come Tumblin' Tumblin' Down
The store is really starting to open up and give everyone an idea of the changes that are taking place in our Coral Springs location. It may be hard to believe but the store is going through a complete transformation and the end result will be quite impressive especially knowing that all this construction is being done while still remaining open for business. The nights are long but the destination is near.

Coral Springs renovation update...
Hello all! Well for those of you who frequent the Coral Springs location, you are probably noticing the transformation taking place. We are in the thick of the renovation/expansion and it is only going to get more hectic. Each week, you should be noticing subtle changes taking place and immediately after Easter, we kick it in a high gear once again. Here are some photos once again. We will try to keep you updated as often as we can.

A while back, we had some posts titled "But it Sounds Much Better in Italian" where we stated Italian proverbs with their English Translation. We really want to post many more but would like our readers to contribute. There are so many proverbs from all regions and with their dialect they are truly unique in all their wisdom. If you have any sayings that you would like to share, simply comment on this post or send an email to garym@dorismarket.com and we can compilate them and give credit to our contributors. Vegetarian / Meatless Dish: Sicilian Chickpeas & Spinach
Description
There’s been a push by nutritionists for Americans to eat meatless one day a week. Restaurants have hopped on board, with many offering “Meatless Mondays” and a greater number of vegetarian options. The chefs on the Culinary Visions Panel ease the way with a tasty medley of chickpeas and spinach heightened with cumin and smoked paprika.
Ingredients
Serves: 12
6 garlic cloves, chopped
2 lb., 4 oz. fresh spinach leaves
1 lb. (3 cups) cooked chickpeas
1 1/2 tsp. smoked Spanish paprika
1 1/2 tsp. sea salt
1 tsp. toasted cumin seeds
1 tbsp. fresh lemon juice
Grated lemon zest, optional
Methods/Steps
- Heat olive oil in large skillet over med. heat. Add garlic; sauté until beginning to brown. Stir in spinach leaves; cook until wilted.
- Combine chickpeas with paprika, salt, toasted cumin and fresh lemon juice.
- To serve, stir chickpea mixture into wilted spinach and garlic. Cook until heated through. Garnish with lemon zest, if desired.
