Our Coral Springs' expansion/renovation project

Ciao Tutti!  Well we are over one month into our construction project at our Coral Springs location and so far, things are going smoothly.  Not bad considering that this project is a three headed monster.
  • The first is the expansion aspect.  We are adding two more bays comprising of approximately 3000 square feet.  This additional space will be mainly our new meat/seafood department with extra retail floor space allowing for both more self service and full service features.
  • The second is the renovation aspect.  Along with the expansion, the store will go through a complete facelift.  Using a professional retail designer, the whole store will have a whole new look and feel.
  • The third and most crucial aspect is that this project is being executed while the store remains open.  this requires a day crew to work on the outside and empty bays and a night crew to do more of the same as well as work in our existing retail areas.
It's going to be a rough ride but well worth it.  This project gives the store a much needed solution to crowded ailes and limited selection as well as it will create a few more jobs and ensure that our current employees still have a place to work.  So please excuse our disarray while we make the store bigger and better.  In the meantime, I provided some images of our expansion side since the public is closed off to it.  Thank you for your loyalty and we hope you are just as excited as we are.  Ci vediamo!

This bay used to be a dance studio

The demolition allowed the two bays to be combined and it quickly allowed us to visualize the plan

The bays were quickly stripped bare before the actual construction began

Trenching is required for plumbing, electrical and elevation changes

Where I stood taking the picture is to be behind the scenes. Beyond the wall frame is to be the meat & seafood departments and retail floor.

It's beginning to come together

This will be the retail area looking toward the front of the store.  Meat & Seafood.
Keep checking in as we update you with other parts of the project.  Grazie!
