Big Night: One of the best food flicks

Since this 1996 movie came out, it has been in my top 5. The movie stars Stanley Tucci (who co-wrote script), Tony Shalhoub (from Monk & Wings), Campbell Scott (who co-directed with Tucci), Minnie Driver, Ian Holm, Isabella Rossellini, singer Marc Anthony, & Liev Schreiber just to name a few. It is about two brothers, Primo & Secondo who try to live the American Dream by owning and operating an Italian restaurant. I do not want to provide too much information but if you love Italian food, music, and the traditions that come with it, I highly recommend you to just pick up a copy of the film and indulge.

By the way, the soundtrack, which is available anywhere, is something that could be played in the kitchen on a daily basis. To whet your appetite, here is a great scene. The film in itself is a touching story of immigrants trying to have a better life in America.
